SC: Plea Bargaining Should Also Include Offence Bargaining and Not Just Sentence Bargaining - 26.07.2023

Supreme Court while observing that India has only incorporated sentence bargaining and not offence bargaining, has stated that such selective incorporation limits the aspects of plea bargaining and also noted that countries like the USA have successfully incorporated both aspects of plea bargaining.
