Cal HC: State Can’t Contend Person Forfeited Right to Compensation Due to Delay in Approaching Court - 21.07.2023

Calcutta High Court has held that it would be preposterous if the State is permitted to contend that since the land looser was sleeping over his rights and did not approach a legal forum promptly, he forfeits the right to receive compensation for the land acquired by the State.
