SC: Suspension of Conviction Can’t be Done Merely Because it will Cause Disqualification of MP - 18.07.2023

Supreme Court while hearing a plea against Kerala High Court’s order that suspended the conviction of MP Mohammed Faizal in an attempt to murder case, has observed that conviction of the accused can’t be suspended merely because it will otherwise lead to disqualification of the parliamentarian.
