Kar. HC: Lost Passport Can’t be Re-issued Without Registration of FIR with Police - 05.07.2023

Karnataka High Court has held that right to travel abroad is regulated by Passport Act and rules thereunder which prescribes format of documents to accompany application even for re-issue of a passport that requires submitting information of when FIR was lodged and at which Police Station.
