MP HC to UOI: Consider Lowering the Age of Consent Back to 16 - 03.07.2023

Madhya Pradesh High Court while observing that the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2013 which increased the age of consent for sexual intercourse by a girl to 18 years has disturbed the fabric of the society, has requested Union Government to lower the age of consent back to 16.
