Madras HC: Untouchability Includes All Forms of Social Ostracism, Not Merely Caste-Based Practice - 26.06.2023

Madras High Court has observed that Untouchability goes beyond the specific Caste-based practice and includes all practices of social ostracism and exclusion that have their bases in ritual ideas of purity/pollution and hierarchy/subordination.
