Bom. HC: Upon Application of Deceased’s Legal Heirs, Excise Commissioner Must Cancel Liquor Licence - 20.06.2023

Bombay High Court while observing that transfer of liquor licences is at the discretion of the concerned authority, has held that legal heirs of the deceased license holder applied for cancellation, the excise commissioner was duty-bound to cancel it.
