SC: Can’t Hold Railway Responsible for Theft of Personal Belongings of a Passenger - 16.06.2023

Supreme Court while setting aside a order of a Consumer forum that directed railways to compensate passenger for the stolen amount of cash, has held that theft of personal belongings of a Passenger is not ‘deficiency of service’ by Railways.
