TRAI mulls common framework for digital addressable systems

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India released a paper discussing a common regulatory framework encompassing different digital addressable systems. .

The paper introduces a framework which will provide a level playing field for all digital addressable systems, promote growth and give consumers effective choices.

At present, the Authority provides interconnection regulations for each individual digital addressable system, such as Direct-to-Home and Internet Protocol Television.
