Restriction on EPF withdrawal

MANU/PIBU/0411/2016

The Minister for Labour and Employment outlined the restrictions on withdrawal of funds from the Employees Provident Fund Scheme. Instances when withdrawal can be made include retirement from service after 55 years of age, migration or permanent settlement abroad, and cessation of employment.
