P&H HC: Specific Time Limit for Grant of Sanction for Prosecution Under UAPA Rules 2008 is Mandatory - 23.05.2023

Punjab and Haryana High Court while observing that time grant for prosecution sanction under UAPA (Recommendation and Sanction of Prosecution) Rules, 2008 is mandatory, has held that if no decision on prosecution sanction is taken within the period, accused is entitled to interim bail.
