RBI: Rs. 2000 Notes Withdrawn from Circulation; Will Continue as Legal Tender - 22.05.2023

Reserve Bank of India in pursuance of its Clean Note Policy has announced the withdrawal of Rs. 2000 banknotes from circulation. The notes to be continue as legal tender and can be exchanged up to a limit of Rs. 20,000/- at a time, until 30 Sept. 2023.
