SC: Parties Not Allowed to Invoke Special Leave Jurisdiction to Bypass High Court - 19.05.2023

Supreme Court while observing that top court entertains SLPs without High Court being approached only when there is substantial question of general importance, or similar issue is pending for consideration has held that the same can’t be done to bypass remedies available at the High Court level.
