Delhi HC: Comparative Advertising is Protected Under Article 19(1)(a) of Constitution - 19.05.2023

Delhi High Court while observing that comparative advertising is protected under Article 19(1)(a) of Constitution as commercial speech, has held that criticizing rival’s product is impermissible and that advertisement cannot claim that a competitor’s goods are bad, undesirable or inferior.
