SC: For National Security Interest, Inquiry Proceedings of Civil Servant Can be Done Away With - 15.05.2023

Supreme Court has held that inquiry proceedings of civil servants can be done away with if President or Governor is satisfied that inquiry would not be in interest of security of State. Court cannot, in such circumstances, judge on expedience or inexpediency to dispense with the inquiry.
