SC: HC can’t Direct State Government to Recommend a Tribe for ST List - 09.05.2023

Supreme Court while hearing plea seeking SIT probe into Manipur violence and ongoing unrest in the State, has orally remarked that High Court didn’t have power to direct State government to recommend a tribe for Scheduled Tribes (ST) List.
