SC: Practice of Seeking Pre-Deposit of Bank Guarantee for Grant of Bail is Unsustainable - 26.04.2023

Supreme Court has held that the practice whereby pre-condition of furnishing bank guarantee is imposed on the accused by the Trial Court and the High Court while granting bail is unsustainable and bad.
