Kar. HC: Amendment Conferring Magistrate’s Power Upon Executive Authority is Ultra Vires - 19.04.2023

Karnataka High Court has held that Karnataka Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules, 2022 which conferred powers on Revenue officials to decide on application for delayed registration of births and death is ultra vires to Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969.
