SC: Consumer Disputes Can be Raised for Goods/Services Not Connected to Profit Generation - 18.04.2023

Supreme Court while observing that commercial enterprises are not excluded from definition of ‘Consumer’ under Consumer Protection Act, has held that commercial enterprise can raise consumer disputes in relation to any goods/services which doesn’t have nexus with the profit generating activity.
