SC: Must Re-Consider View That There Can’t be Police Custody Beyond 15 Days of Arrest - 11.04.2023

Supreme Court has observed that Court must reconsider its views in CBI v. Anupam J. Kulkarni (MANU/SC/0335/1992
), wherein it was held that police custody can’t be beyond 15 days of arrest and further remand to facilitate investigation can only be by detention of accused under judicial custody.
