JKL HC: Prosecutor is Independent Statutory Authority; Must Justify Extension of Investigation - 10.04.2023

Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court while observing that Public Prosecutor is an independent statutory authority, has held that he is expected to independently apply his mind to request of investigating agency before Submitting a report to court for extension of time to complete investigation.
