Kerala Court: Moral Policing Can Never Be Encouraged in Civil Society - 06.04.2023

Kerala Court while sentencing 13 accused to imprisonment for 7 years in Madhu lynching case, observed that even if accused persons believed that Madhu was involved in several theft cases, they have no right to take role of a moral police to apprehend him; such moral policing can’t be encouraged.
