SC: Getting Bail Would be Impossible if Courts Does Plain & Literal Interpretation of S. 37 NDPS Act - 31.03.2023

Supreme Court while granting bail to undertrial prisoner arrested 7 years ago under NDPS Act, has observed that plain & literal interpretation of conditions under Section 37 would effectively exclude grant of bail altogether, resulting in punitive detention & unsanctioned preventive detention.
