Gau. HC to Assam Govt.: Pay Rs 5 Lakh Compensation to Custodial Death Victim's Wife - 27.03.2023

Gauhati High Court has directed Assam Government to pay Rs. 5 lakh as compensation to a woman, whose husband died in jail because timely appropriate and adequate medical facility was not provided to him due to an error of judgment on the part of medical authorities.
