Meghalaya HC Rejects State's Blueprint to Deploy CRPF for Curbing Illegal Coal Mining - 16.03.2023

Meghalaya High Court has rejected State’s "Grandiose" blueprint to deploy 100 and 60 companies of CRPF in eastern and western range respectively to curb Illegal Coal Mining, has observed that cost implication even on short-term/temporary basis, may make this plan unfeasible.
