Del. HC: Arbitration Award Violating Indian Contracts Act is Patently Illegal - 15.03.2023

Delhi High Court while partially set aside an arbitration award that was passed in contravention of Sections 59-61 of Indian Contracts Act (ICA), 1872, has held that award that is passed in violation of the provisions of ICA would be liable to be set aside as suffering from patent illegality.
