SC: Killing of Animals for Food is Permissible Under Law - 14.03.2023

Supreme Court while dismissing a plea seeking to curb the killing of animals for food and to switch over to lab-generated meat, has observed that under Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act eating of animals for food is permitted.
