HP HC: Person Ineligible to Act as Arbitrator Can’t Appoint Another Arbitrator for Deciding Dispute - 01.03.2023

Himachal Pradesh High Court has held that any appointment of other person as arbitrator by person who is himself ineligible to act as an Arbitrator for determining the dispute arising under the arbitration agreement is void ab initio, and the proceedings so conducted will be non est.
