SC Recalls Order Holding BJP Guilty of Contempt for Not Disclosing Criminal Antecedent of Candidates - 28.02.2023

Supreme Court while recalling its 2021 order which held BJP guilty of contempt for flouting directions regarding public disclosure of criminal antecedents of electoral candidates during Bihar assembly polls in 2020, noted that there was no willful or deliberate disobedience of the court order.
