Gauhati HC to State: Why POCSO Act Added in Child Marriage Act? - 15.02.2023

Gauhati High Court while granting anticipatory bail to certain accused in different matters booked under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, citing no requirement of custodial interrogation in the matter, has questioned the State why POCSO was added as an offence in the case.
