SC Affirms Compensation to Lawyer for Bank Wrongfully Keeping His Name in Loan Defaulters List - 15.02.2023

Supreme Court has affirmed National Consumers Disputes Redressal Commission directing Canara Bank to pay compensation of Rs. 5 lakhs to lawyer whose name was kept in the loan defaulter’s list as per CIBIL, for about 7.5 years after discharging his loan obligations.
