Meg. HC: CBI’s Jurisdiction to Investigate Ceases if Chargesheet Doesn’t Involve Offence Under PCA - 14.02.2023

Meghalaya High Court has held that when the offences under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA) are dropped from chargesheet, CBI’s Jurisdiction to Investigate Ceases and for CBI to continue its prosecution, specific consent of State is required.
