SC: No Fundamental Right to Bear Arms - 14.02.2023

Supreme Court while registering a suo moto case to curb the large number of possession and use of unlicensed firearms in India and terming the trend as ‘Disturbing’, has observed that unlike in the United States, no one permitted in India to carry firearms unless authorised.
