Meghalaya HC Orders Deployment of Central Armed Forces to Prevent Illegal Coal Mining - 09.02.2023

Meghalaya High Court while observing that local officials are involved in manipulation and illegal coal mining and while sounding the bell of caution for the probable outcomes of such unscientific mining, has ordered deployment of CISF or CRPF to prevent illegal coal mining.
