SC: Compensation of Rs. 2 Crore for Bad Haircut is Excessive - 09.02.2023

Supreme Court while setting aside order of National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) awarding compensation of Rs. 2 crores to model for bad haircut and poor hair treatment has held that determination of compensation should be based on evidence and not based on consumer's claims.
