Cal. HC: Removing Girl’s Undergarment & Forcing Her to Lie on Ground Amount to Rape - 07.02.2023

Calcutta High Court has held that the action of removing undergarment of victim and forcibly making her lie down on ground cannot be for any other oblique reason but indubitably for purpose of ravishing her and would amount to the offence of rape under Section 375 of IPC.
