SC: Can’t Transfer Land in HP to Non-Agriculturist Without State’s Permission - 02.02.2023

Supreme Court has held that land in Himachal Pradesh can’t be transferred to Non-Agriculturist without State’s permission and observed that purpose of same is to save small agricultural holding of poor persons and to check rampant conversion of agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes.
