SC to Trial Courts: Don’t Record Witness Testimonies Only in English - 31.01.2023

Supreme Court has disapproved of the practice of trial judges recording the testimonies of a witness only in the English language form as translated by the judge, when the witness testifies in a different language, and must follow Section 277 CrPC.
