SC Warns UP DG Prisons of Contempt Action if Directions on Premature Release Are Violated - 16.01.2023

Supreme Court while issuing strict directions to Director General of Prisons of Uttar Pradesh to take all necessary steps to ensure that applications for premature release or remission are duly considered has warned Authorities of contempt action the same are not complied with.
