HP HC: S.37 NDPS Act Can’t be Invoked in Perpetuity to Dilute Right of Expeditious Trial - 13.01.2023

Himachal Pradesh High Court has held that stringent provisions concerning bail under Section 37 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 can’t be invoked in perpetuity to dilute right of the accused to an expeditious trial.
