Cal. HC Grants Bail to UAPA Accused in Custody Since Three Years - 13.01.2023

Calcutta High Court while granting bail to an accused in a case registered under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), has observed that there has been an inordinate delay of three years in conclusion of the trial, thereby infringing upon the accused’s fundamental rights.
