SC Quashed Complaint Alleging Offence Under SC/ST Act - 09.01.2023

Supreme Court while quashing a complaint alleging complaint under Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, has observed that private civil dispute between the parties is converted into criminal proceedings, and it amounted to abuse of process of law.
