Bombay HC: Causing Bomb Blast Not an Official Duty - 02.01.2023

Bombay High Court while rejecting an appeal filed by Lieutenant Colonel Prasad Shrikant Purohit, seeking discharge in the case of 2008 Malegaon blast that killed six people and injured over 101, has held that Causing bomb blast is not an official duty, therefore doesn’t require sanction from Army.
