Madras HC: Can’t Grant Reservation to Women for Senior Advocate Designation - 26.12.2022

Madras High Court while observing that Senior Advocate is a privilege conferred upon such a lawyer based on merit and not a post which a lawyer can claim entitlement to, has held that lawyers cannot claim any reservation for senior designation including based on gender.
