Bombay HC: Social Media is Important Pillar of Democracy, if Not Misused - 21.12.2022

Bombay High Court while quashing a FIR lodged against man who had hacked Facebook page of MLA Ravi Rana, has held that social media has become a powerful medium for exchange of views, expressing opinions and thus has become an important pillar of democracy, but only so long as it is not misused.
