Uttarakhand HC Imposes Rs. 50K Costs on FB for Not Filing Reply in PIL - 09.12.2022

Uttarakhand High Court while observing that prima facie it appears that the Meta-owned platform Facebook is not complying with Information Technology Rules, 2021, has imposed costs of Rs 50k on Facebook for failing to reply to a petition alleging circulation of a morphed video on social media site.
