SC: Power U/S 319 CrPC Has to be Exercised Before Pronouncement of Sentence in Case of Conviction - 06.12.2022

Supreme Court Constitution Bench has held that power under Section 319 of CrPC is to be invoked and exercised before pronouncement of order of sentence where there is a judgment of conviction of accused; and in case of acquittal, power should be exercised before order of acquittal is pronounced.
