Mad. HC Initiates Suo Moto Contempt Proceedings Against DGP & Officials Over Lawyer's Arrest in 2017 - 16.11.2022

Madras High Court has initiated suo moto contempt proceedings against Director General of Police (DGP) and other police officials for prima facie flouting the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court in DK Basu's case, while arresting a lawyer in 2017.
