J&K&L HC: Right to Choose Forum Does Not Permit Choice of Two Forums for Same Reliefs - 01.11.2022

Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court while imposing penalty of Rs. 50000 on petitioner for forum hunting, has held that person may have right to choose forum for redressal of his grievance, but he cannot be permitted to choose two forums in respect of the same subject-matter for the same relief.
