Manipur HC: Indian Women Will Not Concoct Untruthful Story of Rape for Blackmail or Revenge - 31.10.2022

Manipur High Court while dismissing anticipatory bail applications filed by rape accused has held that an Indian woman traditionally will not bring false charges of rape for the purpose of blackmail, hatred, spite or revenge as stigma attached to it rules out the leveling of false accusations.
